William Donald
Funeral for William R. Donald of 880 Las Ovejas Avenue, Terra Linda, will be tomorrow at 3 p.m. at N. Gray and Co., San Francisco. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
Donald died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was 68 and a native of San Francisco.
He was a buyer nearly all his working life and was with I. Magnin and Co. in Southern California for more than 22 years. He returned to the Bay Area on his retirement four years ago.
Donald was educated at Mission High School, San Francisco, and the University of California, Berkeley. He was a member of La Canada Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, and of Theta Chi fraternity.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; a son, John Donald of Woodacre; a daughter, Mary Hamilton, a graduate student at University of Oregon; his mother, Mary Donald; a sister, Ruth Donald Oliver; and a brother, Albert Donald, all of San Francisco, and one grandchild.
