JAMES CRANDALL
James L. Crandall, 56, vice president of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association of the U.S. and Canada, died today at a local hospital following a long illness.
A native of Elmira, N.Y., Crandall had lived in Marin for three years, moving to San Rafael from Philadelphia. He lived at 8 Anna Court.
Survivors are his wife, Ollene L. Crandall; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Welch of Kings Ferry, N.Y.; four sons, Gerald F. Crandall of Marion, Ohio; James L. Crandall III in Vietnam; Jeffrey L. Crandall of Berkeley, and Stephen M. Crandall of the home.
Funeral will be Sunday at the Melvin H. Keister Funeral Home in Elmira, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Elmira.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cathryn Kuhlman Foundation, Pittsburg, Pa.
The body will be at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, until 9 p.m. today.
