MARTIN BORDESSA
Martin Bordessa, 88, Petaluma rancher, died yesterday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Bordessa left his native Italy in 1904 and settled in Bodega. He owned and operated dairy ranches in both Marin and Sonoma counties for many years.
Bordessa was a 60-year member of t he Druids, Harmony Grove No. 38 of Petaluma. He lived at 5618 Lakeville Highway.
He is survived by his wife, Catrina; a son, John Bordessa of Petalma; two daughters, Minnie Albini of Two Rock and Mary Roberts of Petaluma; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Petaluma. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Sorensen Funeral Home. Entombment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Mausoleum, Tomales.
