JAMES AMO
James D. Amo of San Rafael, sales manager for Van Ness Dodge Co., San Francisco, collapsed from a heart attack during his lunch hour yesterday and died about 6 p.m. in a San Francisco hospital. He was 46 years old.
A native of New York, he had lived in California about 20 years and in Marin two years, at 40 Tampa Drive. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Salesmen’s Union, Local 1095, and of the Peacock Gap Country Club.
Amo is survived by his wife, Nancy K. Amo, and two sons, Frederick and Cary Amo, and a daughter, Susan Amo, all of San Rafael, and his mother, Kay Adams Davis of Honolulu.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
