Laurence Bacigalupi

Laurence (Sam) J. Bacigalupi, a longtime Marin resident, died Saturday at Bayside Convalescent Hospital in Kentfield after a short illness. He was 86.

Mr. Bacigalupi was a partner in the Williams Lithograph Company in San Francisco and was a member of the San Francisco Lithographers Union Local 280.

He was born, reared and lived much of his life in San Francisco. In 1955, he moved to Marin.

Mr. Bacigalupi’s wife, Corina, died in 1969.

Survivors are a brother, Maurice Bacigalupi of San Francisco; a niece, Beverly Passetti of Larkspur; and a nephew, John Bacigalupi of San Francisco.

A private funeral is scheduled for Tuesday. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Helena.

Friends are invited to the recitation of the rosary at 7 tonight at the Mount Tamalpais mortuary in San Rafael.
