MABEL RAINS

Funeral for Mabel Margaret Rains of San Rafael was held today in San Francisco.

Mrs. Rains, 74, of 14 Pacheco Street, died Friday at a local hospital following a long illness.

She was a native of San Francisco, and had lived in Marin seven years.

She is survived by a son, Earl L. Rains of San Rafael, and two sisters, Viola Rudd and Frances DeVito, both of San Francisco.

Burial was at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the wife of the late Charles H. Rains, and mother-in-law of Marcella Rains.

The California Death Index gives her birth date as October 18, 1895.
