Minnie J. Brodie

Private funeral for Fairfax resident Minnie J. Brodie was held Saturday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.

Mrs. Brodie died Saturday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness….(illegible)….was a native of Scotland and had originally lived in Marin but moved to San Francisco with her husband, a Pacific Gas & Electric employee, before returning to Marin to live in Fairfax.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Noak of Canada; two sons, Arthur of Sonoma and Sidney of Fairfax; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds information: she was the wife of the late David Brodie, mother of Betty Noak of Vancouver, B.C., Arthur W. and Sidney J. Brodie. She was a native of Perth, Scotland, aged 81 years.
