Mrs. B. Allen, Marin Club Woman, Dies At Home Here
Mrs. Belle Crane Allen, member of a pioneer Marin County family, died Saturday morning at her home here after an illness of nearly a year.
Born in Bolinas, Mrs. Allen had resided in San Rafael for many years. She was 72 years old.
At the time of her death she was the president of the San Anselmo Woman's Improvement Club, having held that position for two years. She was an active member of Marinita Parlor, N.D.G.W. and for years had marched in the Admission Day parades. In spite of ill-health last fall she marched with the Native Daughters in the Autumn Festival parade here.
Deceased is survived by two nephews - William M. Crane and J. Warren Crane, of San Rafael.
Funeral services were held Tuesday mornig at 10 o'clock at the parlors of Keaton & Dusel.
