EDWARD BUTLER

Private funeral services were held yesterday for Edward K. Butler of San Francisco, brother of Mrs. Edna B. Smith of Novato. He was 57.

Butler, a lifelong resident of San Francisco who worked as a social worker with that city’s welfare department, died Tuesday in Reno of a heart attack.
