Mrs. Buckley, Pioneer, Goes To Reward
The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Buckley, widow of the late Cornelius Buckley, was held last Saturday from the Buckley home, 105 First street.
The death of the good woman resulted last Wednesday from a paralytic shock suffered a few days before. She had lived in this city for about forty years and had made and kept a host of friends by whom she will be sadly missed.
Following the services at the residence, the cortege went to St. Raphael’s church, where a requiem mass was celebrated. Interment was made at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mrs. Buckley was the mother of Mrs. W. Walsh, Mrs. George Agnew, Mrs. J. B. Brady and James Buckley, a native of Ireland and seventy-three years of age.
