Frank X. Burgess

Private services have been held for Frank X. Burgess, 78, of Mill Valley.

He died Tuesday at Marin General Hospital.

A native of New York, he had lived in Mill Valley since 1966. He had moved to the area from San Francisco.

He had worked for the city and county of San Francisco as a painter for 35 years.

He was a member of the Painters Union of San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Burgess of Mill Valley.
