Flora C. Martinelli Dies At 89

Flora C. Martinelli, 89, of Point Reyes Station, longtime resident of West Marin, died yesterday at a local hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Martinelli was born in Point Reyes Station. She and her husband, the late Olympio Martinelli, operated a general store in Olema over 50 years ago. They then owned a dairy ranch in West Marin until the husband’s death in 1933, when Mrs. Martinelli moved to Point Reyes Station.

Surviving are a son, Elmer Martinelli; a sister, Mrs. Olympia Grandi, both of Point Reyes Station; a brother, Walter Tomasini of Calistoga, Napa County; two grandsons and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Olema Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Sorensen Funeral Home, 400 Washington Street, Petaluma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds information: Mrs. Martinelli was the sister of the late Ulysses H. Tomasini; grandmother of Leroy and Stanley Martinelli of Point Reyes Station and Miss Patricia Martinelli of Pleasant Hill.
