MRS. CARPENTIER

Elizabeth Carpentier of 1104 Second Street, Novato, a retired secretary, died at a Novato hospital today after an illness of three weeks. She was 64 years old.

She was a native of Missouri. She worked for many years at Hamilton Air Force Base. Her husband, Fernand (Frenchie) Carpentier is a heavy equipment operator.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Juliette Rippe of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, Douglas Garrett of Piedmont; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Louis Hynes of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. Ledas Bott of Pontiac, Mich., and Mrs. Enid Branner of Piedmont, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Redwood Chapel, Novato. Burial will be private.
