Cecilia Crawford

A memorial rosary service for Cecilia Crawford, longtime Novato resident, will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home in Novato.

Mrs. Crawford died Friday at the Hill Road Convalescent Hospital in Novato after a long illness. She was 89.

She was born in Boston, Mass., and had lived in Novato since 1924.

Mrs. Crawford was a homemaker and had belonged to Portuguese organizations over the years.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane Nervo of Healdsburg; two sons, Raymond Crawford of Walnut Creek and Arthur Crawford of San Jose; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Inurnment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Oakland.

The family prefers memorial donations be made to a favorite charity.
