FRANK GADANYI

Frank Gadanyi, 65, of Novato, died yesterday in a local hospital after a brief illness.

A native of Budapest, Hungary, he emigrated to the U.S. in 1951. He lived in Chicago until six months ago, when he moved to Novato to live with a daughter, Mrs. Gabriella Metzger at 750 Sunset Parkway.

He was a retired carman for the Chicago and Western Indiana Railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; his daughter; two sisters, Mrs. Magdolna Ecker and Mrs. Rozsi Piedl, and a brother, Josef Ecker, all of Hungary.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, San Anselmo. burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
