Hazel A. Gilliland

A memorial service for Hazel A. Gilliland, 80, mother of Jim Gilliland of San Rafael, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Burlingame Methodist Church.

Mrs. Gilliland, a San Mateo homemaker, died Monday at a local convalescent hospital after a long illness.

She was the wife of Lyman C. Gilliland of San Mateo.

Mrs. Gilliland was a member of the Burlingame Methodist Church and the Sisterhood of P.E.O. She was a native of Minnesota.

Surviving, besides her husband and son, are a daughter, Janet Ehrens of Woodridge, Ill., and five grandchildren.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be to the P.E.O. Scholarship Fund, 120 Mountain View Avenue, San Rafael 94901.

She was the mother-in-law of Gladys Gilliland and Bill Ehrens, and grandmother of Cinda, Lynne and Kim Gilliland of San Rafael, and Carleen and Russel Ehrens of Illinois.
