Mildred L. Janney
Mildred Louise Janney was an early member of the Chicago Restaurant Women's Association.
She died May 17 at 89.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. June 10 at The Redwoods in Mill Valley.
Mrs. Janney was born in Ohio.
She owned Fisher's Tea Room in Illinois.
Her interests included reading, cooking, and genealogy. She belonged to Marin County Genealogical Society, Colonial Dames of America, National Society New England Women, and Daughters of The American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Janney.
Her survivors include two brothers, Art Fisher of North Carolina and Bob Fisher of Arizona; and a niece.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Redwoods Endowment Fund, Marin Abused Women's Services or to a preferred charity.
