Helena Mager

Helen Mager, 96, a five-year resident of the Alderly Danish Retirement Home at 326 Mission Avenue in San Rafael, died yesterday following a long illness.

Mrs. Mager was the wife of the late Jacob Mager. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Anthony’s Church in San Francisco.

Mrs. Mager was born in Germany.

Survivors include a son, Robert E. Mager Sr. of Fairfax; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Schilling of San Leandro; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael’s Church, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
