Robert E. Mager Sr.
Ex-harbor master

Services are Monday for former Loch Lomond harbor master Robert E. Mager Sr. of Fairfax.

He died Jan. 13 following a brief illness. He was 81.

He was harbor master at Loch Lomond Marina for 33 years.

He was born and raised in San Francisco, where he ran a service station for 25 years. The family moved to Marin County in 1962.

He was married to JoAnne Mager of Fairfax for 57 years.

He is also survived by a son, Robert Mager Jr., of Fairfax; and two daughters, Beverly Jeanne Mager of Penngrove and Nancie Mager Brown of Napa Valley.

Friends are invited to the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Monday at St. Rita’s Church in Fairfax.

Donations in Mr. Mager’s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 25 Bellam Blvd., Suite 150, San Rafael, or Canine Companions for Independence, 1215 Sebastopol Road, Santa Rosa.
