JOSEPH DAVIS

Dr. Joseph A. Davis of 105 Oak Avenue, Kentfield, a dentist, died at his home today after an illness of several months. He was 82.

A native of San Francisco, Dr. Davis moved to Marin County 12 years ago. He had been a dentist 45 years and maintained his practice until recently.

His wife, Gladys E. Davis predeceased him.

He leaves a son, Milton Smith Davis of Kentfield; and two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Phillips of Duncan, Okla., and Ethel Reda Davis of San Francisco.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Colma.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was also the father of the late Rose Virginia Davis.
