Fred E. Petri

Fred E. Petri, 55, of Kentfield, Marin County resident for 45 years, died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness.

Petri and his wife, Mary, resided at 832 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. He also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Tom Gianoli.

Petri had been employed for many years in the maintenance department of the Marin Municipal Water District.

Petri, a native of California, was a member of San Rafael Elks Lodge No. 1108.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Sebastian’s Church, Greenbrae. The cortege will assemble at 9 a.m. at Keaton’s Chapel in San Rafael. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited in Keaton’s Chapel at 6 p.m. tomorrow.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Petri.
