Myron Banks

A service for Myron Banks of Greenbrae was held Monday.

He died Sunday at Bayside Convalescent Hospital, Greenbrae. He was 76.

A native of Virginia, Banks was a businessman in Saugerties, N.Y., until six years ago. He came to Marin when he retired.

In Saugerties he had owned a Hallmark store and had also worked for the county health department. He was a member of the Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce there.

Banks is survived by his wife, Caroline Banks of Greenbrae; a son, Peter Banks of Oakland; a daughter, Nancy Heiner; and five grandchildren.
