George Guldager
One of Marin’s pioneers was laid to rest last Thursday at the Tomales Presbyterian Cemetery, following his death on Tuesday, September 19, in San Jose, at the age of 80 years.
Guldager was the son of the late Hans and Caroline Guldager of Tomales. His mother was a member of the Zimmerman family of Tomales, and his father had come to San Francisco in 1853, settling in Tomales in 1869. Later, George Guldager came to San Rafael where he resided for many years while employed on the old North Shore Railroad.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Susan Guldager; a son, Clinton Guldager; a grand daughter, Mrs. Marian McCoy, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Colvin, of Oakland.
