Beatrice Benson

Funeral for Beatrice G. Benson, a 26-year-resident of Marin City, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Marin City. Burial will be in her hometown of Crystal Springs, Miss.

Mrs. Benson, 70, died Thursday in a local hospital after a short illness.

She was born in Crystal Springs and moved in Marin City in 1945. She and her husband, Alex, a construction worker, had lived at 19 Dutton Court since 1963.

Mrs. Benson was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Alonzo Hamilton, of Vallejo; a brother, Leon Gayton, of Crystal Springs.
