William M. Bevier

The funeral for William McQuewan Bevier, of Tiburon, a longtime controller for H. S. Crocker, lithographers, of San Bruno, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephen’s Church, Belvedere.

Bevier, 56, died Sunday at his home after a long illness.

He had been a resident of Marin for 15 years and was an avid gardener.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Bevier, of Tiburon; a sister, Barbara Smith of Menlo Park; and a brother, Robert Bevier of San Carlos.

The family prefers that memorial gifts be made to the William Babcock Memorial Endowment, San Rafael.
