BERNSTEIN – Joseph J. Bernstein entered into rest Nov. 9, 1969. Beloved father of Pamela and Dennis Byrnes, Judy Sockolov and Joan Levine, and the late Randy Byrnes, loving brother of Richard Bernstein, devoted son of Jessie Bernstein. District officer of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Services were held Monday, Nov. 10, Sinai Memorial Chapel, Divisadero Street at Geary, San Francisco. Interment Home of Peace.
