STEVEN C. PARSONS

A private service for Steven C. Parsons of Fairfax, a lifelong Marin resident, was held today.

Mr. Parsons died from a gunshot wound Sunday night. He was 27.

He was born and raised in Marin and was a 1975 graduate of Sir Francis Drake High School.

Mr. Parsons owned West Coast Towing in Fairfax for a number of years. He recently sold the business.

He was a member of Fairfax Parlor of the Native Sons of the Golden West. Mr. Parsons also was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Mr. Parsons is survived by his parents, Alfred and Jean Parsons of Fairfax; a sister, Kim Parsons of San Anselmo; and his grandparents, Tony and Florence Boitano of Fairfax.

The family prefers memorial gifts to the Marin Unity of the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
