COLIN A. SPARKS

Private funeral services for Colin A. Sparks, 53, of San Anselmo were held today at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.

Sparks died Saturday in a San Francisco hospital after long illness of cancer. Until becoming ill, he had been employed by H. H. Koch and Sons in Corte Madera. He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y.

He leaves his wife, Celeste, and a son and daughter, Colin H. and Nancy Sparks, at the family home at 31 Brookside Drive, San Anselmo; also a brother, Herbert Sparks of Downey.

The family asked that tributes be contributions to the Cancer Research Institute of University of California Medical Center in San Francisco.
