EVELEEN MOTT
Eveleen Tucker Mott of Kentfield died unexpectedly yesterday after complaining of shortness of breath at about 3 a.m.
She was dead on arrival at a local hospital, according to the Marin County Coroner's office, and the exact cause of death was undetermined.
Mrs. Mott, 80, of 289 Vista Grande, Kentfield, was a native of North Woodstock, N.H. She had lived in California and the Bay Area since 1936 before moving to Marin County about six years ago.
She was a member of the Sequoia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mayflower Society, Huguenot Society of California, Magna Carta Dames and other historical lineage societies.
She is survived by a son, Ralph E. Mott of Kentfield, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Halsted & Co. in San Francisco. Cremation will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Colma.
