B. A. GARFIELD

Bernard A. Garfield, father of Mrs. David Sheldon Jr. of San Rafael, died in a San Francisco hospital yesterday after a short illness.

A native of Chicago, Garfield had lived in San Francisco for 19 years.

Besides Mrs. Sheldon, he is survived by his wife, Zelda Garfield of San Francisco.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Sinai Memorial Chapels, San Francisco. Burial will be in Hills of Eternity, Colma.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Heart or Cancer Fund.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions grandchildren Jamie, Robin and David B. Sheldon; also that he was the brother of Lorraine Kaye, Seymour Garfield and Harold Freeman.
