Einar O. Sjoholm

Einer O. Shoholm, a Novato resident, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1987, at the Novato Convalescent Hospital after a long illness. He was 79.

Mr. Sjoholm was a native of Pennsylvania who had moved to San Francisco in 1955.

He was the head of the auto underwriting department of Kemper Group Insurance in San Francisco. He retired in 1973 and moved to Novato a few months later.

Mr. Sjoholm was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Sons in Retirement in Novato.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Sjoholm of Novato, and two sisters, Karin McCoy of Canton, Ohio, and Agnes Smeltzer of Lawrenceville, N.J.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato. Inurnment will be at Valley Memorial Park in Novato.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimers Disease Marin, 234 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael, 94903.
