Psychiatrist’s Wife Dies At San Quentin
Mrs. Catherine Rogers, 40, wife of Dr. Henry Rogers, psychiatrist in the guidance center at San Quentin prison, died yesterday following a lengthy illness at the Rogers’ home on the prison reservation. A native of Ireland, she and Dr. Rogers had resided at the prison for the past eight months.
Funeral services in charge of Keaton’s Mortuary will be held tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. A requiem high mass will be offered for the repose of her soul at St. Raphael’s church commencing at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o’clock at the mortuary.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sisters (sic), Edmund Hynes of Brooklyn, New York, and Mrs. C. Powers of Cappamore, Ireland, and a brother, John Hynes.
