EDWARD PHELAN

Funeral for Edward W. Phelan, a retired Air Force sergeant formerly of Novato, was Feb. 27 in Fall River, Mass.

Phelan, a 23-year Air Force veteran, lived in Novato for three years before moving to Fall River in 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Alice F. Phelan, a stepson, James C. Sheppard, and a daughter, Karen A. Oswald, all of Novato; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard H. Phelan; a brother, Leonard H. Phelan Jr.; and a sister, Barbara Golden, all of Fall River.

Burial was at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River.
