Funeral for John Miller of San Anselmo was held in Cypress Lawn Memorial park, San Francisco, yesterday. Burial was at Cypress Lawn, Colma.

Miller, of 1507 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, died in a local hospital Saturday after a long illness. He was 87.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he had lived in Marin for four years. He had been in the automobile business as a sales manager in Detroit, Mich., Portland, Ore., and San Francisco for 45 years before his retirement.

He is survived by a daughter, Virginia Walters of San Francisco.
