SMITH, T. Gail -- Of Tiburon, CA died August 14, 2001, at Smith Ranch Convalescent Hospital of pancreatic cancer. Gail was born at Grant, NE, September 8,1927, and received her medical education at Denver, Co and San Francisco, CA. She was a medical researcher in various parts of United States but spent the majority of time at University of California San Francisco. She left a medical career of 18 years when she developed a reaction to radioactive substances. She took up a second career as a Real Estate Broker selling and managing properties in the Tiburon area as well as in Fremont, CA. until 1999. Her brother, Milo Smith of McCook, Ne.; a sister Donna Smith of Santa Clara, CA Clara; four nieces and one nephew survive Gail. Memorial Service is at 2:00 PM, August 26, 2001, at Tiburon Baptist Church, 445 Greenwood Beach Road, Tiburon, CA. Interment was at Mission City Memorial Park, Santa Clara, CA, Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
