ROSCOE EVANS

Masonic funeral for Roscoe E. Evans of Petaluma, brother of Mrs. Virginia Zimmerman of Marshall, was held yesterday in Petaluma.

Evans, 67, a re tired Petaluma real estate broker, collapsed while spending the weekend at his cabin at Swayne’s Flat in Humboldt County and was dead on arrival at Fortuna Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; a son, William J. Evans of Petaluma; three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Zimmerman, Mrs. Alma Cluver of Petaluma, Mrs. Vivian Talbura of Sacramento, and Roy Evans of Glenburn, Shasta County. Another son, Ross R. Evans, was killed in action in World War II.
