George Poyser Taken By Death
Death came Monday to George Poyser at the family home on Fifth street and relieved his suffering of several years from an illness which had kept him confined to his bed for the past month.
The funeral was held yesterday at Gray’s Chapel in San Francisco under the auspices of the Foresters, Court Star of the West, of which he was a member. Mr. Poyser was until his illness became acute, secretary of No. 83, Painters’ Union.
He was fifty-five years of age and was born in England. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, Mrs. Mary Poyser, a son, John Poyser, and a brother, Harry Poyser.
