Lt. J. A. FINKIN DIES IN CRASH IN SAN LEANDRO

Second Lieut. John A. Finkin, Army pursuit plane pilot, of Hamilton Field, was killed Tuesday when his plane plunged to the ground near San Leandro and burned. The pilot was in practice formation at the time.

Lieut. Finkin comes from Fort Worth, Texas, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Finken, reside. He was assigned to Hamilton Field last June.
