CECELIA WILLIAMS
Novato resident
Cecelia “Sally” Williams, a 45-year resident of Novato, died Dec. 23 at her home. She was 72.
Born in Great Falls, Mont., she graduated from Great Falls High School in 1946. She joined the civil service in 1951 and worked in admittance at the military hospital in Nogoya, Japan, during the Korean War. She met her husband, Ray, in 1953 in Japan, where they were married and had their first child.
She was a member of Our Lady of Loretto Church and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Raynard Williams; daughters, Cynthia Williams, KrisAnn Bryan, Susan Haluska, Linda Noren and Karen Williams; sons, Larry, Gary and Kevin Williams; brother Father Christopher Soupos; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Keaton’s Redwood Chapel, where a vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.
