Joseph P. Flynn
Resident of San Anselmo for many years and a cabinet maker by trade, Joseph P. Flynn died Saturday afternoon following a long illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Wentworth, 62 Millbrae avenue. He was 57 years of age, a native San Franciscan and a member of San Anselmo Post of the American Legion.
Deceased was the husband of the late Mary Flynn and is survived by one daughter, his mother Mrs. Bridget Flynn, a sister Mrs. Margaret O’Rourke and four brothers, Thomas, William, Robin [sic] and John Flynn.
American legion memorial services will be held tonight at Keaton’s mortuary following recitation of the rosary at 8 o’clock. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock from Keaton’s, a requiem mass being celebrated in St. Anselm’s church commencing at 9:30 o’clock. Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery.
