George Curtis
Funeral services were held today in San Francisco for George Charles Curtis, 64, long-time Mill Valley resident who died in a San Francisco hospital Saturday after a long illness.
Curtis, who resided with his wife, Margaret, at 121 Sycamore Avenue, retired form the Navy in 1946 with the rank of lieutenant. He was a native of Little Falls, N.Y., and a member of the American Legion Mill Valley Post 284.
Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Curtis of Buffalo, N.Y.; and Mrs. William Vail of Little Falls, N.Y., and a brother, J. Edgar Curtis of Utica, N.Y.
Services were held at the mortuary of Julius S. Godeau in San Francisco. Burial was in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
