LEUNG, Wonnie L. -- Peacefully passed away on October 21, 2001, in Mill Valley, CA, after a courageous 7+ month battle with cancer. Born in Berkeley on November 5, 1917. She was 83. Beloved wife of the late Dick W. Leung for 54 yrs; loving sister of Jimmie and Ait Foo Lee; beloved Stepmother, Pau Pau and Tai Pau Pau of the Leung family; and Auntie, Grand Auntie and Great Grand Auntie to many nieces, nephews and their children. An avid golfer, formerly a member of the SF Chinese Golf Club for 25 yrs and a member at Richmond Country Club for 20 yrs. Graduated from Lingnan University, China, and Woodbury College in Los Angeles, CA. Retired from Pacific Far East Lines, Inc., with career that spanned 38 years of employment. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1000 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014. Private service in Chapel at Woodlawn - Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at 12:00 pm. Remembrances may be made to the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA 94118 or to your favorite charity. leedg@sce.com
