Antonio Fumeo Of Hub City Dies

Antonio Fumeo of San Anselmo, retired stone mason, died last night in a local hospital after long illness. He was 78.

Fumeo resided at 3 Calumet avenue, San Anselmo, with his son, Amerigo Fumeo.

He had been a Marin resident 50 years, and learned the stone mason trade in his native Italy before coming here.

Besides his son, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Olga Isi of San Francisco; four grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters in Italy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Interment will be private.
