PHILIP G. ALGEO
Philip G. Algeo of San Rafael died Tuesday, March 31, 1987, at his home after a short illness.
He was a native of Napa who moved to San Francisco at the age of 9. He had lived in San Rafael for the past 20 years.
Mr. Algeo was a supervisor of shipbuilding at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard in San Francisco for many years.
He retired in 1970.
He was a member of the Parnassus Lodge No. 388 of the Masons of San Francisco.
Mr. Algeo was a skilled handyman who built elaborate dollhouses for his children and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Marion G. Algeo of San Rafael; a daughter, Sherrie Peterson of Redmond, Wash.; a son, Terry Algeo of San Rafael; a sister, Jessie Algeo of San Mateo; and three grandchildren.
No services will be held.
The family prefers that memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903, or the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in San Francisco.
