WILLIAM H. AHERN

Private services for William H. Ahern of Fairfax were held yesterday.

Ahern died Monday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 83.

A native of San Francisco, he lived and worked there until retiring to Marin County 26 years ago. He was a representative for t he Teamsters Union in San Francisco.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Ahern of Fairfax.

He was buried in Olivet Memorial Park in Colma.
