ROSSI – Myrtle A. Rossi was born in San Francisco on November 9, 1902. She grew up in the Mission District and was one of the few remaining survivors of the 1906 earthquake. She was the loving wife of Virginio F. Rossi, a longtime San Francisco pharmacist. Upon marrying, she joined her husband in Visitation Valley where she raised her family. After Mr. Rossi’s retirement they moved from San Francisco to Guerneville, Calif., where Mr. Rossi died in 1976, just three months short of their 50th wedding anniversary. Following her husband’s death, Mrs. Rossi lived for a number of years with her sister, Aileen Delea [?hard to read] in Santa Rosa. More recently Mrs. Rossi has been living in Larkspur with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, June R. Barton, her son John V. Rossi, her son James R. Rossi, and six grandchildren. Her eldest son Robert Rossi died just one week before Mrs. Rossi. A private funeral service as held.

All are invited to attend a Memorial Mass for both Mrs. Rossi and Robert which will be said at St. Patrick’s Church in Larkspur on February 3, 1997 at 11 a.m. Any contribution can be made to a preferred charity.
