MRS. MARGARET A. HARTNESS

Margaret A. Hartness, 69, of 1420 Hill Street, Novato, died yesterday in an Oakland hospital after a long illness.

A native of Nebraska, she had lived in Woodacre for 20 years prior to moving to Novato.

She is survived by her husband, Louis E. Hartness of Cotati, from whom she was separated; a daughter, Mrs. William A. Durham of Novato; a sister, Lillian Dias of Santa Rosa and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
