Mae Orlandi
Robson estate caretaker
Mae Orlandi, for many years the caretaker at the Robson estate in San Anselmo, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1990, at Bayside Convalescent Hospital in Greenbrae. She was 92.
Mrs. Orlandi was born in Fresno. During the Pan-American Exposition in 1939, she worked in the Japanese tea room.
She served the Robson family as a housekeeper for many years and stayed on as caretaker after it was bequeathed to the town of San Anselmo. She lived 30 years in Marin.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Janet Orlandi, San Francisco, and Paul Orlandi of Sacramento. A son, Russell Orlandi, died earlier.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ashley and McMullen Funeral Home in San Francisco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Monica’s church in San Francisco. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
