Victor Albertoni
Victor H. Albertoni, a longtime Petaluma resident, died Saturday at his home after a sudden illness. He was 68.
A native of Nicasio, Albertoni had lived in Petaluma since infancy. He attended local schools and served overseas in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Albertoni had been a truck driver most of his adult life, He had worked the past 28 years for the Royal Tallow Co. of Petaluma.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Petaluma post 1929.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Albertoni of Petaluma; four sons, Johnny Albertoni of Petaluma, Robert Borrman of Buena Park, William Borrman of Anaheim and Robert Wilkinson of Novato; three daughters, Rosemary Reid and Janice Reid of Petaluma and Irene Coyer of Michigan; a sister, Elsie Gilardi Wise of Petaluma; a brother, Bundy Albertoni of Oregon; and 15 grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sorensen Funeral Home, Entombment will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
