Death of Henry Strain
After a long illness, Henry Strain, one of the pioneer residents of Bolinas, passed away on Thursday of this week. He was one of the early settlers of Marin and a combination of thrift and skill in husbandry speedily made him one of the prosperous. He owned a fine estate in Bolinas township where he ended his blameless life.
No better men are made than Mr. Strain. He was kind of work and deed to all, a generous father, a good neighbor and his work was ever his bond. He leaves not an enemy on earth nor an acquaintance who does not sincerely mourn his loss.
The funeral will take place today at Bolinas
